On June 27th, LifeLEMA partners gathered at the Kursaal Center for a very important event. 

Indeed,  it was time to share the final outcomes of their project with politicians, scientists, stakeholders and the public. It resulted in a great day for everybody as we could meet a lot of people and share crucial information with the audience. Over 90 individuals came to attend the conference and taste the great food.

Various issues have been addressed such as the monitoring tools and the awareness campaigns’ results. 

We have been honored to welcome important speakers among whom Michel Veunac, the Mayor of Biarritz; Marc Bérard, the delegate of Kosta Garbia; Laetitia Jourdan, Head of SUEZ – Rivages Pro Tech; Florent Marcoux, Executive Director of Surfrider Europe Foundation and many others.

Now that the project is coming to its end, we are approaching the final phase of the journey. Many things still have to be done and it is high time to prepare the future of LifeLEMA. However, we would like to warmly thank the European Commission for giving us such a great opportunity as well as all the stakeholders who have been supporting us throughout the years.
